I added a new weapon to my BBQ arsenal this week. Finally, someone made and extension ring for my 26-3/4″ Weber Kettle. They offer one for the more popular 22.5″ size as well. This is a link to the manufacturer: http://smoke-ez.com/index.php

Mister Bob’s Custom Offset (Big Red)
This is Big Red at the metal shop following the last round of modifications. The seals are tight as a drum and she holds very steady temps for hours on end.

This pit belongs to Rod Gray of Pellet Envy. The picture was taken while I was in Overland Park this Spring taking Rod’s cooking class.

Smokers all cleaned up and read to go
Cleaned all the smokers yesterday: The Weber Kettle, The Big Green Egg, Big Red and the Baby Stumps. We’re all set for the Fourth of July. We may have a last minute catering gig, but if not we’ll have our own backyard BBQ. Working on a new BBQ Pork Tenderloin recipe. If it works out the way I think it will, I’ll post it the following week.
